A group of Military Officers from the United States Army Medical Corps participated in the Departmental Clinical Meetings.
This was part of their familiarization visit and joint Medical Service with the 37 Military Hospital.
The DOA(Department of Anaesthesia)37, holds regular clinical meetings every Monday morning(excluding holidays), where various topics are presented to enhance Continuous Professional Development of the anaesthetists(doctor anaesthetists and CRAs) and other medical staff. It is also a platform for discussing case seminars and quarterly morbidity and mortality meetings of the department.
The CRNAs from the U.S. Army presented on Malignant Hyperthermia and selected Local Anaesthetic Blocks during their visit.
Every student is expected to attend the morning meetings because it affords them the opportunity to further tap into other rich sources of clinical knowledge and skills in anaesthesia.
